The World in my Hands
These suspended stoneware orbs of various sizes have ridges, knobs and textured surfaces. The piece is designed to be held and explored, to find the grooved and raised areas as contrasted to the smooth and satin surface. Reminiscent of a globe, sharp pointy elements abut smooth, silky glazed surfaces.
